Great course for a PM getting into AI Era

This course was incredibly valuable. As we rapidly move toward becoming more AI-native, it nailed the balance between big-picture strategy and practical execution. It shifted my mindset from “what’s possible” to “what’s valuable and feasible,” and gave me a repeatable toolkit I still use every day.

Highly recommend for any PM looking to apply generative AI concepts to real-world products. A well-rounded intro to AI product management. The course combines theory, frameworks, and actionable tips in a clear and engaging way. Migdad’s deep expertise and responsiveness—both in live sessions and on Maven—are a major plus. That said, with a large cohort, some operational limitations on the Product Faculty side became noticeable. Also, the price-performance ratio could be improved, especially compared to similar offerings with smaller groups and more hands-on feedback.

I really enjoyed the curricuklum and the structure of the course - it was not the typical "Instructor talks and we listen" format - quite the opposite! The Capstone project really got us to transfer the knowledge in to hand-on experience, the feedback was a fantastic way to also iterate on the neew learnings within the course. The 0.5 star missing is addressed to the lengthy sessions, I would prefer to have shorter sessions to ensure the energy level was at 100% from my side.

This course gave me the hands-on experience I needed to truly understand how I could incorporate generative AI into my own products. The course blended deep dives into the technologies and concepts that underlie today's LLMs and agentic AIs, but also challenged me to apply those concepts by building an LLM-powered product, from start to finish. After completing this course, I have a much deeper understanding of how to ship a soup-to-nuts LLM-powered product to my own customers.

This program has leveled up both my theoretical and practical skills in developing AI-powered products, managing AI complexities, and guided me through the key concepts that will enable me to lead my teams towards more effective solutions. I feel a lot more equipped navigating the ongoing landscape and rapid change of AI and demystifying a lot "experts" online. As a travelling Canadian surfer, this is the wave you want to get on by taking this course.

Just completed the Spring AI Product Management course with Product Faculty and officially received my certificate! 🎓 Huge thanks to Miqdad Jaffer and Moe Ali for their incredible support throughout the program. Their dedication to the students and the well-balanced format of self-paced content combined with interactive, instructor-led sessions made the experience truly impactful. They organized weekly sessions to unblock us from any problems we faced while developing the capstone project. This was very useful and hands on. For my capstone project, I had the chance to build using tools like Lovable, N8N, and the OpenAI API—and it was genuinely exciting. I’m amazed by how much I’ve learned in such a short time, though I know I’ve only just begun to scratch the surface.

TL;DR: This course actually delivers. No fluff, just real frameworks and the ability to retake it is a huge advantage because there's just so much great information to absorb I took it because Miqdad's OpenAI credentials caught my attention, but what sold me was hearing he focuses on practical application over theory. The format is refreshingly hands-on. About 60% teaching, 40% actually doing stuff. We worked through real case studies and built an AI feature from scratch as our capstone. Absolutely worth it if you're serious about building AI products. Skip it if you just want to sound smart in meetings.

I loved the course, its extensive and structured folks serious about becoming AI product experts. I feel like I got the whole 9 yards - fundamentals, product building frameworks, and hands-on application via the capstone project. But if you’re willing to invest the effort, the learning payoff is significant. The live sessions are interactive, with short exercises that help reinforce key concepts. The capstone project is a central piece of the experience, and while support is available, how far you take it is really up to you. I appreciated the flexibility and self-directed nature of the program. Whether you’re juggling a full-time job or diving deep into the content, the structure allows you to adapt the experience to your own goals and schedule. In summary: I felt it is a thoughtfully designed course, the content is rich, the pace is accommodating, and the capstone gives you a practical way to apply everything you’ve learned.
