This course has been a great experience for me. The content has been really well crafted. It offers clear and understandable explanations of how to build AI products, and not just on a surface or introductory level, because it goes deep into the topics. The learning is not just technical but strategic as well, which is amazing. I really learned a lot in the Q&A sessions. And I really appreciated the huge flexibility and extra help from Moe and Product Faculty.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of building AI products by following product faculty's 4D framework. It starts by building the necessary background by covering fundamentals of AI and then jumps right into building products to solve customer problems using AI. I would highly recommend this course to any product managers or builders looking to upskill.

AI Product Management Certification – My Review as a PM I recently finished the AI Product Management course on Maven, and wanted to share a quick review in case it helps someone. The course is very structured and easy to follow. It had just 3 live classes, which were really good and gave clear guidance on how to approach AI as a product manager—not from a technical angle, but more about how to think about user problems, data, and business impact when building AI features. That part I really liked. The capstone project was also useful—got me thinking practically on how I’d apply AI to a real product use case. I just wish it was a little more in-depth. It could have included more guidance or structure, maybe even some examples to push us to think deeper. Felt like there was potential to take it further. Overall, I think it’s a great starting point if you’re a PM trying to get into the AI space or collaborate better with data science teams. Not too heavy, not too light—just enough to give confidence and language to work with AI ideas. If they add more live sessions or make the capstone more detailed, it would be even better. But I still recommend it if you’re curious about AI and want something practical from a PM point of view.

Truly an amazing course - the hands-on experience of actually building AI products and features from scratch is beyond par. The 4D process of Discovery, Design, Develop, and Deploy tells you how the core fundamentals of product management do not change even when building AI/enabled products. Miqdad is an amazing teacher, and Moe and the Product Faculty team do an incredible job supporting you throughout the process This is one of those courses where you get as much as you put into it. The Capstone project does take serious time and effort (I, for one, had underestimated how much), but is incredibly rewarding in the end. Strongly recommend for folks looking to get their hands dirty.

This AI PM course was an excellent introduction to how LLMs operate and what goes on beneath the surface. It taught me how to confidently integrate AI into product development and craft smarter, more effective solutions. Migdad is an outstanding instructor—his teaching style is clear, practical, and engaging—and the course structure is organized and thoughtfully designed.

The information was well organised and clear, the frameworks were grounded in practical wisdom. Be prepared to invest time on the capstone project though, it requires a fair bit of commitment.

Had an awesome experience learning concepts required for enabling AI in core Product management work we do every day. The course helped me building a capstone project from scratch with support of Product faculty team , Moe and especially Miqdad. This wasn’t just a surface-level tour of GenAI concepts. It was a deep, practical dive into how AI works and how product managers should think, build, evaluate, and lead in this space. Loved the clear, structured frameworks for turning vague AI ideas into actionable product strategies and MVPs.

I really enjoyed this course and walked away with a deeper understanding of AI. 🧠 AI Course learnings & what stuck with me: AI agents ≠ default solution Don’t throw agents at everything. Use them for messy, high-context, decision-heavy problems. For low-stakes tasks? Automation wins. Start with the problem, not the model. LLMs are powerful but they need guardrails: • RAG – Ground outputs in your most relevant data it wouldn't otherwise know • Fine-tuning – Align the model with YOUR domain & data • Prompt engineering – The fastest & hands-on way to improve • Tool use – Let model do things not just say things with structure & guardrails Why LLMs shine with unstructured data LLMs excel at dealing with the kind of messy information that traditional systems struggle with (text, audio, visual). And tools like RAG help them make better use of that unstructured info by giving them the right context at the right time. You don't want to use an LLM as a traditional database; they do better with incomplete or loosely formatted info.

I found the course incredibly helpful and well structured. I had been wanting to upskill myself and learn how to design and build AI-powered products that solve real world problems. However, I was getting overwhelmed by the amount of information available online. The course provided me much needed structure. Both Miqdad and Moe were very invested in the learning journey of the course participants. I was wowed and inspired by the quality of Capstone projects from the students.

The course material and instructor were great and the course struck a great balance between theory and hands-on application. It significantly improved my understanding of how to build AI-powered features, and gave me practical tools/advice, I can immediately apply in my product work.

Do not take this course if you dont have a lot of time to work on the capstone project. While the course content was edifying, it was really only created for one type of learner (those that can just watch videos only) and it really only makes sense if you actually can spend the time applying it to your capstone project. I would have loved if there was more than one case study to follow along with, more information on applying and interviewing for AI roles, and more hands on context beyond just the capstone project.

Miqdad is awesome!! Deep knowledge, 6th sense about AI PM’ing and amazing teaching skills. This course requires a good amount of off-class time, but that’s a feature, not a bug - you get really hands-on with building an AI solution with a world-class support infra with direct access to the course team, an active Slack channel and yes, even an AI teacher! I can’t recommend this enough - go get your AI PM groove on.
