I highly recommend diving into the capstone project to put your learning into practice. One of the most valuable aspects is the opportunity to learn directly from professionals currently working in the AI space. The course also clearly highlights the distinction between traditional product management and AI product management—an essential shift for anyone looking to adapt to the evolving landscape. Be aware that while you’ll receive some initial directional feedback on the capstone, you’re expected to independently drive most of the work. That said, Q&A sessions are available, and you can request a slot to get more targeted support. It's hard work, but worth it.

This is a fantastic course. It contains state of the art information on how to select the problems for building a (Gen)AI-enabled product. I came from the background of ML/AI, and the course made it quite easy for crossing this bridge. Specifically, the course contents helped me to get started as a product-manager, on prioritizing where to spend effort (RAG vs fine-tuning the model), and live sessions with Miqdad helped in understanding how he (as an experienced AI-PM) is thinking about questions asked by other cohor members and framing the answers with a live whiteboard. The capstone project is well designed for applying the knowledge gained into a realworld product feature extension / prototype for new product.

this course didn't disappoint. From fundamentals of training, fine-tuning, and inferences on AI models to building real AI products for customers (and doing it hands on in a capstone project) this course was great for pinning down what really matters in creating value with AI. Migdad is the real deal—an AI product leader with both serious technical chops and sharp business instincts. Good course with a capstone project

It's a good course to give some basic understanding of overall AI and LLM concepts. Miqdad is extremely knowledgeable and patient as an instructor, making everyone feel very comfortable asking questions. The 20% of the course that focuses on evals was extremely valuable and I wish the course was 100% (or at least 80%) focused on that part, I feel like I still have a lot to learn about it. The class is very large (almost 200 people) and there is a wide range of current levels of AI understanding and product management experience, which makes it less interesting at times.

This was the first real AI course that I have done, which exposed me to building my own custom LLMs and also to thinking about how to develop an AI-based application with these LLMs running behind it. Definitely worth the time and effort investment.
