Completing the Advanced Product Management course reshaped how I approach product strategy through its masterful blend of timeless principles and AI-era adaptations. The curriculum’s emphasis on “contrast over competition” (via Atlassian’s Blue Ocean case study) challenged me to rethink differentiation, while retention metrics revealed how companies like Spotify and Waze turn casual users into loyal advocates. Most impactful lesson? “Retention is truth” – a metric no marketing budget can fake retention. The course equipped me with frameworks to prioritize lasting value over vanity metrics. I wish I had taken this course early in my career. The course provides a comprehensive foundation on Product Management and is taught by one of the most tenured PMs in the industry. I've been in product for years but this course gave me a level of clarity that finally brought together previous one-off classes I've taken. A course more focussed on Software Product management. Thought provoking insights into things into what you need to do as a software Product manager. There were senior executives explaining what they did in their careers and companies and giving cases to think about what yo would've done if you were there. However, I wondered if it helped get someone hire-ready because of this course.
