A strong AI learning course that will take you past theory into workable design, models, and execution. I've gone back after the course to continue to learn from specific modules that were loaded with executable content.

Much of the course content covers general product management and strategy concepts that experienced PMs and leaders should be familiar with. The AI elements build on these concepts in a meaningful way, but I would have expected more dedicated content on AI strategy and less general information.

The course content was great and up-to-date. I thoroughly enjoyed the live lectures and hearing thoughts from industry leaders on best-practices and direction of AI within product management.

At present, technologies and tools are evolving (even completely changing) within a matter of months. It’s unlikely that any course can stay at the top for long, so this course is not for you if you’re looking for details on the latest changes in AI. It’s not so much about AI itself, but rather about how to build products in this environment. If you want a clear, step-by-step understanding of what to do to launch a product using AI or built around AI, then you’re in the right place.

The course was good - it covered a lot of ground and the information is rich and includes real world examples which is very helpful. The team is responsive and flexible to personal circumstances. However, the nature of the in person sessions felt really impersonal and less useful and came before the bulk of the actual content was made available online making it sort of premature in many cases. The community aspect of the class could be improved - I didn't feel like I got to know the students well or that the attempts to create social interaction worked since the student base was so large.

As a senior data scientist, this course helped me connect technical AI work more directly to product thinking and decision-making. It gave me a clearer framework for judging where AI can genuinely add value, thinking through feasibility and tradeoffs earlier, and translating model behavior and technical constraints into product decisions that are more useful for users and easier for teams to execute. I finished the course with stronger judgment, a more structured way of thinking about AI products, and more confidence in contributing to product direction in a practical way.

This course if very well rounded and an excellent entry point for all people of multiple levels to get into and learn the product design and development foundations of building AI products. Also, the instructors are great and clear in the way they teach.

Fantastic course. Easily one of the most practical and well-structured learning experiences I’ve had on Maven.
